15 minutes of fame! Victory Bank

15 minutes of fame!

Posted on Tuesday, February 16, 2010

Oh, yeah, we're famous now!  Doug Shimell from Channel 10 NBC was cruising around the 'burbs last Friday afternoon, doing a story on the big piles of snow, and whipped into the bank's parking lot.  Apparently their communication signal works well here in Limerick, and there was no shortage of snow piles surrounding the bank.  Of course, our friendly team of bankers pretty much swarmed them, and they were good enough to come in for a quick visit, a cup of hot chocolate and the obligatory photo-op!

(Note that we put all the company attention seekers in this photo).

Very charming people, and we had a lot of fun being the hosts for a few minutes.  Mr. Shimell could not have been nicer nor friendlier.  We think they ought to run a story on the great service we provide, and about founding a bank based on a clear value system, but I imagine the snow thing is probably more interesting for the evening news.  Oh well...

Wow! That is reaaly cool...what a nice surprise to any workday.

Mr. Shimell seems like a great guy, it seems like Victory Bank showed him some hospitality.  Would be nice if they ran a story on Victory Bank.

That is very cool!  Some day the Bank will make National News!  I was checking out the new website and saw a Joe Major Blog!  Man, have times changed! :0)

Very Cool!

They really should run a story on The Victory Bank and the unique entity that it is! When I try to tell people about this wonderful bank, it's almost as if they don't believe me! (What? Am I talking about aliens here?)

The public must be informed! ;)

Beautiful new site by the way!
